Hours of work: 12: Teaching Assistant - 10 hours Midday Supervisory Assistant - 2 hours
Working pattern: Part-time term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05weeks annual leave which will increase after 5 years continuous service)

Mark Cross CEA Primary School is a small village school just to the south of Tunbridge Wells with a strong sense of community and a friendly welcoming staff team. We have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant (TA3) and Midday Supervisor (MDSA) from October 2025 as follows:
TA3 Monday-Tuesday : 08.45-15.15
MDSA Monday-Tuesday : 12.00-13.00
The vacancy is in our Reception class.
The successful candidate will:
Be enthusiastic and committed to helping the pupils at our school.
Have a good level of literacy and numeracy skills and knowledge.
Feel confident working with individual pupils and larger pupil groups.
Be patient calm and truly listen to and value childrens views.
Demonstrate versatility and flexibility.
Be able to maintain confidentiality.
Be able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues.
Preferably have experience of working with children.
