About your new employer:

  • Our client is a dynamic renewable energy company focused on delivering large-scale wind solar and battery storage projects across Australia and New Zealand.

About the role:

Provide commercial and project support across a diverse renewable energy portfolio. Youll advise on and negotiate key project and transactional matters including:

  • Preparing negotiating and managing general commercial contracts including non-disclosure agreements consultancy agreements service agreements and documents relating to dispute resolution and contract administration.
  • Drafting reviewing and negotiating a broad range of project documentation including EPC supply and install balance of plant operations and maintenance (O&M) connection and offtake (PPA) agreements.
  • Advising on land acquisition tenure arrangements and obtaining requisite planning and development approvals to support project delivery.

The ideal candidate:

  • Admitted Lawyer with 5 years experience in advising on energy or infrastructure projects in Australia.
  • Coming out of a large or specialised law firm and/or in-house within the energy/infrastructure sector.
  • Skilled in managing external counsel and balancing legal and commercial risk.
  • Strong communicator with strategic thinking and influencing ability.
  • Confident managing competing priorities and delivering pragmatic legal solutions
