Principal Designer Structural Offshore Topside

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies differentiated advisory services deep technical domain expertise energy transition solutions high-end design capabilities and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

KBR is looking for a Principal Designer Structural Offshore Topside to support the largest offshore oilfield in Qatar Bul Hanine. This will play a vital role in the countrys oil production portfolio. The expansion project is part of Qatars broader strategy to sustain and enhance its oil output while simultaneously investing heavily in its liquefied natural gas (LNG) production growth. This role will be responsible for the modeling of offshore structures (Fixed platforms & FPSOs) in E3D/PDMS/S3D as per the project specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Extract 2D drawings from the 3D model including experience in AutoCAD drafting
Review and check the work of other Designers
Prepare Structural steel MTO
Coordinate with the inter-disciplinary teams on the project

Qualifications:

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related engineering field
7 years of experience with average experience of 10 years in an engineering setup for upstream oil and gas projects (platforms and FPSO projects)
Experience in Floating structures (FPSO Topsides modules) Fixed Template Jacket Structures Lifted Topsides Float over Topsides
Proficiency in E3D/PDMS/S3D modelling and 2D drawings extraction is a must
