Job Summary
Position: UMR Production Coordinator
Reports To: Production Manager
General Description:
Assist production staff and administration with factory operations
Responsibilities:
- Cycle counting activities including researching variances and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Coordinate purchasing and delivery schedules with vendors
- Receipt of shipments into ERP system
- Processing of non-conforming materials
- Processing of production orders
- Data entry tasks of production records
- Creation of work instructions and process documents
- Maintain records and documentation
- Continuous improvement projects and tasks as assigned
- Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
Experience:
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability
- Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed
Education: High School Diploma or equivalency required.
Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
