Abilene State Supported Living Center through Whitestone Healthcare

Abilene SSLC is a state facility that provides behavioral habilitative and medical care to patients with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
Hiring Immediately for 6-12-month commitments with the option to renew.
LVN: Pay and Benefits:
$34 an hour
Paid every Friday.
Insurance available for Full-Time Employees (must work a minimum of 30 hours per week)
LVN: Shift and Interview Details:
6a-2p 2p-10p 10p-6a - 40 hours a week
Available to work every other weekend.
Orientation: Classroom orientation Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm for approximately 3-4 weeks.
LVN: Job Description:
Provide care treatment and general welfare of patients.
May supervise the work of others and works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Performs Nursing duties within the assigned areas and assigned shift including the collection of lab work and other health screenings.
Keeps informed of and follows all agency facility and unit policies and procedures.
Assists the RN Supervisor with on-the-job Nursing instruction.
LVN: Job Requirements
Must Pass Drug Screen and Background
Must have at least 1 year LVN experience
LVN: Credential Requirements
Active Nursing License
Current American Heart Association BLS
Current TB (if you have a positive TB Chest X-ray is required)
Current Flu (waiver available)
