THE ROLE

As a Product Lead at OAKS LAB you will be the core driver responsible for the successful execution and strategic alignment across multiple related product streams or client engagements. Your primary objective is to ensure that the collective work of these streams delivers on a larger strategic outcome for our high-potential tech startups scale-ups and enterprise partners

You will work closely with your dedicated team of designers engineers and QAs to ensure the product you are developing is loved by its users and is achieving its business goals. Our product teams are small and effective usually ranging from 5 to 15 people.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic Program Oversight & Vision: Own and drive the delivery strategy for multiple interconnected product initiatives ensuring alignment with the overarching business goal for the client. This includes proactively shaping and championing the programs vision translating it into clear actionable phases and leading by example to inspire commitment across all teams.

• High-Level Stakeholder & Expectation Management: Coordinate closely with senior stakeholders to manage expectations define high-level roadmaps and ensure the product is delivered successfully within established timelines and budgets. Serve as the primary communication bridge proactively negotiating scope and resource trade-offs to protect product integrity.

• Integrated Dependency & Risk Leadership: Identify manage and mitigate cross-stream risks and dependencies across your team. Maintain rigorous accountability for all committed deliverables and serve as the ultimate escalation point and decision-maker to swiftly unblock teams.

• Process Excellence & Operational Drive: Drive operational consistency and best practices (including Agile principles) across your team while coaching and motivating them towards continuous improvement.

• Cross-Functional Coordination & Team Empowerment: Serve as the central communication hub ensuring alignment between product managers engineering leads and senior leadership. You will be responsible for fostering a cohesive team environment empowering technical and product leaders and driving a culture of ownership and high-performance throughout the product lifecycle.
  

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Program & Portfolio Mindset: Proven experience overseeing and coordinating multiple concurrent projects or product initiatives ideally (but not essentially) in an agency or fast-paced consulting environment.

• Stakeholder Acumen: Ability to influence negotiate and effectively manage expectations with senior-level stakeholders translating client strategy into actionable program execution.

• Organizational Mastery: Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail necessary to manage budgets resource allocation and complex inter-dependencies across teams.

• Outcome Focus: A relentless focus on measurable business outcomes and quality of output consistently seeking efficiency and driving continuous process improvement.

• Agile Knowledge: Strong practical understanding of Agile principles and how to apply them to complex programs.

• Strategic Problem Solver: Driven by a desire to deeply understand business problems and turn complex program challenges into clear execution plans.
