Job Summary

We have a position/s for Trade Qualified Sheetmetal Workers working in a metal fabrication environment based in Acacia Ridge. You will be part of the Fabricationteam adding your existing skills.

Fabricating and welding up components for the Mining Transport and Agricultural Sector light gauge metal welding and all based in the Workshop

This position is a fulltime role casually employed with a view to Permanent after a 3 month probation.

Environment & Remuneration:

Fast-paced production environment;
Ongoing Position with a view to permanent;
Casual rate $52per hour plus penalties;
Trade Qualified Position
7am 3.30pm working hours Monday to Friday;
Fulltime hours. Must be willing to commit to overtime when required.

The Role:

Working within the Light Gauge Welding / Fabrication Team. Welding aluminum stainless and light gauge mild

Duties:

Strong Mig & Tig welding experience;
Sheet-metal Fabrication;
Reading plans and diagrams;
Working in own bay within the workshop;
Welding and fabricating according to plans

About you:

Trade Qualified preferably post trade experience desired but willing to take on any level Sheet-metal worker
Willing and able to complete physical tasks as directed.
Forklift License preferred.
