Job Summary
Staff Management Group is seeking a Production Lead for our client in Lyndhurst NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 7AM 3:30PM
- Monday - Friday
- Plus overtime
Pay Rate:
- $18 / hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Production Lead to oversee daily operations on the production floor and manage assigned duties while ensuring efficiency team coordination and compliance with company standards. This role is ideal for individuals with previous leadership experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide production floor staff during daily operations.
- Ensure production schedules and targets are met efficiently and accurately.
- Assign tasks and monitor employee performance and productivity.
- Assist in resolving operational or personnel issues as they arise.
- Coordinate material flow and staging for smooth line operations.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards at all times.
- Communicate clearly with team members supervisors and other departments.
- Train new employees on procedures safety protocols and best practices.
- Perform hands-on tasks and step in to support production as needed.
- Complete documentation and reporting related to shift performance and output.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual - English and Spanish
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role on a production or warehouse floor.
- Strong communication multitasking and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
- Flexible to perform various duties and adapt to changing priorities.
