About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a strategic thinking creative problem solving and experienced Lead Analytics Consultant to join the CIB Finance Data Insights & Analytics - Transformation Team. This role has high visibility across global senior stakeholders within CIB and CB. The role will support in the execution and delivery of key client banker and line of business strategy reporting and automation routines. The role will blend consultative design hands on delivery and supporting in the presentations to executive stakeholders. You will be critical in supporting the modernization of the technical stack as this plays a key role in future reporting capabilities. You will work closely with a global delivery team with diverse skillsets. The ideal candidate will bring hands on experience with cloud data architecture and environment delivery automation and data migration experience. Prior financial services experience is not required though having a strong understanding of commercial corporate and investment banking business products and delivery is a plus.

In this role you will:

  • Lead cloud migration workstreams efforts and advise on best practices to ensure future reporting capabilities are considered during design and development

  • Support in the strategy development and delivery of key clients banker and line of business reporting and automation routines

  • Develop concise executive presentations

  • Partner with technology teams to convert solutions into strategic production deployed assets

  • Creatively problem-solve identify and deploy automation routines that reduce risk and improve efficiency

  • Need to have a genuine sense of curiosity about data creative problem solving and the future of reporting using agents and chatbots

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Analytics Reporting Management Consulting experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 3years of data analysis reporting and cloud migration

  • Experience crafting and developing materials for senior leadership

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (or other) for building dashboards and visual reports.

  • Critical thinking and change management skills.

  • Understanding of data profiling and data quality.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira Confluence).

  • Experience working with global delivery teams across time zones and cultures.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a data-driven profitability metrics focused environment.

  • Experience in Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking.

  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Willingness to take ownership of complex problems and drive them to resolution.

  • Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and evolving business needs.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on financial regulatory and technology trends.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build consensus across diverse teams.

  • Some weekend and/or evening work may be required of the position.
