The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding Hitachis Water & Environment Business in the Philippines. The role focuses on developing sales strategies securing major infrastructure projects and building strong client relationships to drive sustainable business growth. The role will work closely with the General Manager of the Water & Environment Division to align strategies monitor progress and ensure the successful execution of business objectives. Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Identify pursue and secure high-value opportunities in utilities industrial and private sectors.
- Build and maintain senior-level client and stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborate with diverse technical teams (Philippines Japan & Singapore) to deliver tailored proposals and innovative solutions.
- Lead presentations bid preparation and contract negotiations.
- Monitor market conditions competitor activities and regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts pipelines and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies standards and risk management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of annual sales and revenue targets.
- Growth in pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Number of new accounts/projects secured.
- Strength and depth of relationships with key stakeholders.
- Timeliness and accuracy of sales reports and forecasts.
- Successful coordination with the team and internal departments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 810 years proven sales/business development experience in water utilities industrial environment and/or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong track record of winning large-scale projects.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills with senior-level stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Philippine water industry regulations and market dynamics.
- Ability to collaborate across cultures with diverse teams.
- Strong leadership presentation and communication skills.
- High level of initiative results orientation and resilience.
