Job Summary

Present in Italy since 1909 Air Liquide is the market leader in industrial gases and related services and technologies. Using an industrial and commercial structure spread throughout the country and a pipeline network of 600 km Air Liquide Italy supplies around 100 thousand direct and indirect customers from large companies to small artisans.

Air Liquide Italy has three Business Lines:
- Large Industries: provides techical gases and related products in an enlarged offer with high added value for large industrial customers by means of specific delivery systems (pipelines)
- Industrial Merchant: develops the production and sale of liquids and conditioned gases manages the on site production and services for industrial customers.
- Electronics: develops the market related to high purity gases for the semiconductor industry.

Through innovative technologies and services Air Liquide Italy offers high value-added solutions that improve both industrial performances and environmental impact.


How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW


As a Product Manager - Equipment and Specialty Gases you will be the key link connecting our business strategy with operational capabilities. Youll manage the entire product lifecycle from defining market strategy and competitive intelligence to overseeing supply/demand analysis and strategic capacity planning. This role involves setting product pricing policies monitoring profitability and coordinating the launch of new products/offers. If youre a strategic thinker with a passion for driving product strategy and market success youre the perfect fit for this role.


You will be a key figure in our organization responsible for the end-to-end management of our products (equipment and specialty gases).

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Product Strategy & Market Intelligence: perform competitive and market intelligence to define and refine our product collaboration with Product Direction youll ensure our portfolio remains innovative managing the opening and closing of products.

  • New Product & Industrialization: Support and lead the development and deployment of new products. You will collaborate on product industrialization strategic planning and ensure regulatory compliance at country level.

  • Product Referential: Defines the product referential based on the market needs and interacts with peers to align and agree in cross actions.

  • Pricing & Profitability: Determine product pricing policies based on market analysis and cost data. You will monitor product profitability and propose actions to achieve our financial goals.

  • Offer Design & Deployment: Support actively the deployment of new catalog offers from initial concept to full market integration.

  • Tools management: Youll work with other internal areas in the different tools deployments ensuring that the products remain available and with correct technical and safety information both for customers and internally.

  • Product Technical Support: You will be the first layer of contact for field teams in specialty equipment and gases providing expertise and ensuring connection with other areas and teams as needed.

Are you a MATCH


We are looking for a candidate with a Masters degree in Business or Engineering/Chemistry and 3-5 years of experience in Marketing Business or the Process Industry.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced technical knowledge of industrial processes

  • The ability to perform supply/demand analysis and elaborate capacity planning

  • Experience in developing pricing policies and interpreting product range P&L

  • Knowledge of Industrial Safety and risk management

  • A broad understanding of the customer base and the ability to translate customer needs into product offerings.

  • Strong collaborative and communication skills to work effectively in a complex cross-functional environment.

  • Fluent English

  • Nice to have: French
