Job Description:
The NextGen Trainer works with staff to improve their knowledge of NextGen EMR functionality to improve documentation efficiency and to assess workflows. Training is conducted in a wide variety of settings including small/large classrooms one-on-one group meetings and web-based virtual sessions. This position serves as the subject matter expert for training on all EMR applications. The NextGen Trainer will provide ongoing support and continued education to all departments within Valle del Sol.
Job Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in training or education in a healthcare setting.
- 3-5 years of hand-on experience using and/or supporting NextGen EMR/EPM.
- Hands on experience with medical chart and related paperwork.
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Active licensure (RN LPN LCSW or similar) is strongly preferred.
- Ability to assume sole or independent responsibility for various assigned projects and tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)
- Ability to organize and prioritize various time-sensitive assignments.
- Ability to analyze and anticipate problems.
- Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong training/facilitation skills (experience with NextGen EMR preferred).
- Working for a FQHC experience preferred.
Salary: $65000 - $85000/annual salary
