Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor compliance the EHS Management System and local safety regulations.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Ensure all employees subcontractors and visitors follow site safety rules and use proper PPE.
Participate in the preparation and review of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments (RA).
Conduct toolbox talks safety induction and refresher training for employees and subcontractors.
Report investigate and record incidents near misses and unsafe conditions.
Maintain EHS documentation inspection records and incident reports.
Assist in developing and implementing corrective and preventive action plans.
Liaise with the clients EHS team and ensure compliance with project-specific safety requirements.
Support emergency preparedness drills evacuation procedures and first-aid arrangements.
Promote safety awareness and culture across all site teams.
Ensure lifting operations electrical works and confined space activities meet safety standards.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field.
NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Managing Safely certification (mandatory).
Minimum 35 years of EHS experience in elevator/escalator industry.
Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law and local HSE regulations.
