REMOTE DAYSHIFT - AUTOMATIONS EXPERT
Location: Remote Philippines
Reports to: CEO-Director
Job Type: Full-time
You will own the design build and maintenance of mission-critical automation pipelines across marketing sales and analytics systems in Getmycourse. Your work ensures data quality reliability observability and end-to-end integrity across tools including GHL Zoho CRM Klaviyo Instantly LinkedIn/Meta GA4/GTM and data warehouses (Google Sheets / BigQuery). As our Automations expert you will collaborate closely with Marketing and the leadership team to ensure systems work seamlessly errors are handled gracefully and data is always trustworthy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement event-driven workflows / automations (e.g. form webhook n8n Zoho API upsert Slack alert).
- Own field mapping payload contracts schema versioning; maintain a source of truth (e.g. Google Sheets or data dictionary).
- Build and maintain monitoring alerting SLIs/SLOs error budgets dashboards (success rates latencies).
- Operate a CI-style promotion pipeline (dev staging prod) and maintain rollback / fallback strategies.
- Partner with Marketing RevOps and Engineering on tracking pixel accuracy attribution logic and analytics.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across tool boundaries (de-duplication idempotency retries).
- Handle secrets management PII/consent flags and adhere to regional compliance or data residency constraints.
- Use SQL (or BigQuery Postgres etc.) and spreadsheets to build reporting validate data and debug issues.
- Write clear runbooks SOPs postmortems; coordinate on-call during critical cutovers or incidents.
- Proactively suggest improvements to system design automation logic and orchestration architecture.
Success Metrics / KPIs (First 90 Days) :
- 99% workflow execution success rate (7-day moving average)
- < 1% duplicate leads (by email/phone)
- 5 minutes MTTR (mean time to recovery) for failed runs (during business hours)
- 100% of workflows documented with runbooks alerting and rollback steps
- 95% of incoming form leads have UTM parameters correctly captured
These metrics may be discussed/adjusted with leadership (CEO/Directo) during onboarding.
Required (Must-Have) Skills & Experience
- 3 to 6 years in Marketing Ops / RevOps / Automation Engineering or equivalent role
- Portfolio of 35 production automations (diagrams links screenshots or recordings)
- Deep experience with n8n (core nodes Code node error handling pagination OAuth flows)
- Proficient in integrating via REST or GraphQL APIs: auth flows rate limits retry strategies idempotency
- Hands-on experience with Zoho CRM (Leads Contacts Deals API mapping COQL)
- Experience with GHL (webhooks contacts workflows)
- Strong understanding of tracking/analytics/attribution (GTM GA4 UTM taxonomy client/server events)
- Reliability engineering mindset: retry logic dead-letter handling alerting observability
- Secure handling of secrets/credentials and compliance with privacy/data rules
- SQL spreadsheet fluency (BigQuery Postgres or similar)
- Excellent communication skills: writing runbooks translating requirements to designs cross-team collaboration
- Must be willing and able to participate in on-call/incident support during critical windows
Strong (Nice-to-Have) Skills
- Familiarity with serverless/backend coding ( TypeScript Python) for building custom micro-endpoints
- Experience with Docker Git environment promotion practices infrastructure for n8n (e.g. self-hosted)
- Knowledge of queueing scheduling or messaging systems (e.g. Redis Cloud Tasks message queues)
- Experience with ad platforms / marketing automation APIs (Meta/LinkedIn CAPI Klaviyo flows/webhooks Instantly API)
- Testing culture: unit/integration tests for workflows sandbox/test data
- Basic data visualization / dashboarding (Looker Studio Metabase etc.)
