An exciting job opportunity has arisen to join Birmingham City Councils expanding Environmental Health team.
As the largest local authority in the UK Birmingham is an interesting and unique place to work with excellent opportunities for professional development created by the challenging and varied workload. This includes sports grounds and regulated stands hosting a wide variety of sports including football cricket rugby speedway and athletics. A variety of concerts and events are also hosted at these stadiums. You will be joining a supportive friendly and professional team.
We are seeking a highly motivated passionate and experienced Sports Ground Safety Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Council deliver its statutory duties in accordance with the Safety at Sports Grounds Act 1975 and provide specialist advice to the Safety Advisory Group.

The requirement to drive is essential. You will be expected to travel within Birmingham for which you will be remunerated for the use of your car.
