Job Summary
As an Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase on the Commercial and Investment Banking team you will play a pivotal role in designing and building robust infrastructure solutions and software that drive the firms business objectives. You will primarily leverage your expertise in AWS and Terraform to deliver secure stable and scalable infrastructure environments.
Our team supports the entire firms needs in a federated model providing both flexibility and control through a centralized core. As such a strong understanding of cross-account and cross-region communication is essential for success in this role.

Job responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions using AWS and Terraform ensuring scalability security and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues applying creative problem-solving skills to resolve challenges and optimize performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management processes to enhance operational stability and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate architectural designs and technical credentials ensuring alignment with existing systems and cloud architecture.
- Lead initiatives to promote best practices in infrastructure engineering fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a team culture that values diversity opportunity and respect.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Extensive experience in designing implementing and managing AWS-based infrastructure solutions.
- Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of resolving complex infrastructure challenges.
- Hands-on experience in infrastructure design implementation testing and operational stability.
- Most Importantly you are passionate about building the right thing and the thing right.
