Lead Hardware Engineer (DVT)

We are currently seeking a qualified Lead Hardware Engineer DVT to join our team.
Location: Mississauga Ontario
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Analyze the hardware requirements and draft test cases and procedures.
- Design test equipment for CCAsandLRUs.
- Execute test procedures on CCAsandLRUs
- Mentor junior engineers on writing test cases procedures and executing test cases
- Understanding of aerospace electronics circuits assembly drawings Gerbers etc.
- Prepare concept diagrams of prototypes test interfaces test equipment etc.
- Plan allocation of test cases and test procedures to junior engineers and document change impact analysis.
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 6 years of experience in electronics design involving test procedure and test equipment development in aerospace is required.
- Experience with hands-on test Equipment (ATE Test Jig) development in aerospace is required.
- Experience with development of hardware test cases test procedures and execution of test procedures in aerospace isrequired.
- Experience with medium complex schematic design is an asset.
- Experience with safety critical system (DAL A B C) verification and validation is an asset.
- Experience with lab testing (EMI/Environmental) is an asset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills. Prior working experience in aerospace is an asset.
