The Child Sexual Abuse Therapy Service (CSATS) aims to reduce the harmful effects of sexual abuse on children young people adults and families.

Join our CSATS program where you will be walking alongside individuals and families to manage complex trauma through assessments counselling safety planning advocacy and group work and case management. Additionally you will engage with various stakeholders including the Department of Communities schools and child health services to provide integrated support.

Skills And Experiences

What you will bring
You are passionate about your professional practice and specifically about providing person-centred trauma informed and culturally appropriate services.

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
Bachelors degree in Counselling Social Work Psychology or related discipline
Counselling experience in working with children and families in a therapeutic setting preferably in respect to child sexual abuse and harmful sexual behaviours
Group work experience with children and/or adults
Skills in engaging clients from Aboriginal and other diverse cultural backgrounds
Knowledge of current theory practice and issues related to child sexual abuse harmful sexual behaviours and trauma

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year a WA Working with Children Check and hold a WA Drivers Licence.

$99469 - $101595 annual salary range pro- rata(0.4 FTE pro rata amount $39787.6 - $40638)
