Join our dynamic manufacturing team at Fluke Phoenix where your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products to our customers. As a Material Handler youll play a key role in managing inventory supporting production teams and maintaining organized workspaces. This is a hands-on role in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact our success.
What Youll Do
- Replenish materials in manufacturing cells to support production flow
- Pick up and track Kanban cards to ensure timely restocking
- Perform cycle counts and enter inventory data accurately
- Monitor and follow up on delayed Kanban cards
- Conduct Kanban audits and adjust material presentation and sizing as needed
- Fulfill accessory and parts orders for internal and external customers
- Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks using a walk-behind lift
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed
- Maintain clean organized and safe material handling areas
Who Youll Work With
Youll collaborate daily with team members across assembly calibration machining planning and operations. This role offers the opportunity to build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to a high-performing manufacturing team.
What Youll Bring
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic to intermediate math skills for inventory and data analysis
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel Outlook Word)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Experience using MRP/ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) to enter and manage data
- Familiarity with Kanban systems and lean manufacturing principles
- Comfort operating material handling equipment (e.g. walk-behind lift)
