Description:
The Department of Humanities at Columbia College seeks an adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach ENGL 133W: First-Year Writing Seminar during the Spring 2026 semester. The class meets Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 2:30 3:25 p.m. beginning Monday January 12. This is an in-seat class taught on our home campus in Columbia Missouri.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a Masters or PhD in English Rhetoric and Composition Creative Writing or Comparative Literature. Preference is given to applicants with experience teaching college-level English composition. Please include an unofficial graduate transcript with your application materials.
