Job Summary
Inova Health Pharmacy Warehouse is seeking a dedicatedPharmacy Buyerto join the team.This role will be full-time Monday Friday day shift.

Pharmacy Buyer Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures that pricing availability and approximate delivery dates are given to end-users daily or at the time of ordering.
- Reconciles pharmaceutical purchases for pre-payment statements while providing usage reports for customers.
- Updates the Primary Vendor Information System and verifies and submits invoices to Accounts Receivable.
- Processes out of date item returns via contract agents in a timely manner processes credit to prime vendor weekly and processes all received items to their designated location within Pharmacy daily.
- Orders controlled substances via C-II safe estimates or other modes while utilizing DEA guidelines.
- Ensures that accurate report information regarding products pricing and usage are supplied to end-users as requested and ensures that all recall information is communicated to the appropriate departments and/or other personnel as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED.
- Experience:Two (2) years of buying experience in a Pharmacy.
- Certification:Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
