We boast one of the largest inventories of modern lifting equipment in North America in excess of 1000 units. With an increase in recent demand we are in need of a Entry Rigger / Yard Hand at our Houston location.

Job Purpose

The yard hand / entry rigger will perform various tasks in the yard and at work sites. They will work under the direction of a supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform daily operational tasks in the yard and at work sites as directed
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent.
No experience necessary.
Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements.
Strong work ethic with ability to follow directions.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Ability to learn math applications necessary for rigging.
Ability to work overtime weekends and/or holidays.
Must be willing to follow safety procedures.
NCCER or NCCCO crane rigger certification - preferred
Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards and ability to follow safety procedures.
Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements.

Physical Requirements

Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing walking bending squatting sitting and lifting.
Ability to pick up lift carry and move a minimum of 65lbs.
Most be able to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.
Will use arms and hands to signal grab hold turn push and pull objects/materials.
Must be comfortable working at elevated heights.
