Overview
As a Senior UX Designer you will be responsible for the creation of intuitive engaging and accessible digital experiences by deeply understanding user needs behaviors and contexts. You will collaborate across disciplinesProduct Management Engineering Marketing Educational Services and UX Researchto deliver cohesive and impactful design solutions that align with corporate strategies and branding standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Drive the design of wireframes prototypes and user interfaces that enhance usability and accessibility across platforms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate requirements from Product Managers and Engineers into actionable design solutions. Facilitate focused design discussions and iterative development cycles.
- Design System Integration: Apply established Design Language and Principles integrating perceptual physical and cognitive considerations into product and service design.
- User Advocacy: Represent end-user needs throughout the product lifecyclefrom setup and installation to ongoing useensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Research & Validation: Partner with UX Researchers to conduct behavioral studies gather qualitative and quantitative insights and validate design decisions.
- Artifact Delivery: Produce and deliver specifications guidelines prototypes accessibility standards and UX requirements to engineering and implementation teams.
- Strategic Communication: Present design outcomes and user insights to development teams and executive leadership to influence business direction.
- Agile Execution: Monitor progress against Agile sprints and PI deliverables proactively identifying and resolving issues to meet user experience goals.
Leadership & Ownership
- Take initiative beyond assigned tasks volunteering for responsibilities and offering candid feedback to team members.
- Communicate project status and challenges clearly to stakeholders and core team members.
- Demonstrate ownership of the UX discipline contributing to strategic initiatives and mentoring peers.
- Understand and negotiate dependencies across organizational boundaries.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Design HCI Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Figma Sketch Adobe XD) and prototyping platforms.
- Solid understanding of interaction design visual design and accessibility standards.
- Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
