Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for operation of audio and lighting console for production shows and live bands in Harrahs Lounges and Carnival Court. Ability to read and follow sound and lighting cue sheets during shows. Ability to learn a new show or band setup in a minimal amount of training time. Working knowledge of various lighting and audio consoles. Ability to interact with the public cast and crew in a professional manner.
SCOPE OF WORK: To ensure all technical aspects of Harrahs Lounges and Carnival Court are of the highest standards resulting in a smooth and efficient operation.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Supervisor: Technical Manager and Lead Technician
Supervision: Work under general direction once trained
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist other technicians during setup closing preventive maintenance and repairs.
2. Follow all safety policies and procedures.
3. Keep lead technician informed of any problems.
4. At all times be appropriately groomed.
5. During work hours wearing of clean stage blacks.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 3- years Technical experience in a major/high volume showroom or lounge
2. Strong interpersonal/written and verbal communication skills
3. Visual ability to observe/monitor activities throughout venue and lounge
4. Ability to learn new technologies and equipment
5. Ability to work closely and efficiently with others.
