Job Summary

TriTech Enterprise Systems Inc. (TriTech) is seeking a DevOps / Release Engineer to support a Maryland State contract. This is an onsite contract. The candidate willserve as the technical lead for build release and deployment automation across various applications (EVRRS EIS PMM and APRP). In addition they will ensure all deployments follow defined CI/CD governance change management procedures and operational readiness standards. Also enable continuous integration between application teams the PaaS support layer and the MD THINK platform operations group.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Git and AWS Code Deploy.
Prepare and validate Operational Readiness Checklists (ORCs) for all application deployments.
Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings; submit ORCs release notes and rollback documentation.
Conduct pre-release smoke testing and post-deployment validations for production changes.
Automate environment configuration log rotation and deployment scripts.
Coordinate with Cloud and App Support Engineers during incident-related rollbacks.
Maintain and version control deployment playbooks and pipeline definitions.
Implement tagging and audit trails for all builds to ensure full traceability.
Work with the Security Engineer to validate patch deployments and enforce code integrity checks.
Contribute to Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) by identifying automation and efficiency opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
68 years of experience in DevOps engineering release management or CI/CD automation.
Strong hands-on expertise with Jenkins GitHub AWS CodePipeline and Docker.
Familiarity with ITIL Change Management processes and release governance.
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure in AWS (VPCs EC2 IAM roles S3).

Preferred Skills / Certifications:

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent certification.
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
Working knowledge of Splunk ServiceNow and Jira integrations for release tracking.
Experience supporting large-scale distributed or microservices-based systems.
