Position Summary:The Assistant General Manager supports all aspects of resort operations including guest and employee satisfaction reputation management human resources financial performance sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment.

Ideal candidate will have:

2 years of experience within hospitality management industry; preferably hotels or RV Resorts.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Operational departments such as Guest Services Housekeeping and Maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Assists the General Manager with the operational and financial management of the property. Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.
Verifies that all standards are being maintained in each area of the property.
Verifies that all team members meet or exceed all brand requirements.
Takes action on guest and resident requests seeking resolution.
Delivers and leads strong customer service and operational practices. Enforces resort rules and standards.
Assists RV Resort General Manager with administrative duties and tasks.
Works shifts and supports various departments as needed.
Assists with the employee life cycle of recruiting hiring training coach counseling and mentoring.
Assists with delivering profitable results and operating within budgeted guidelines.
Ensures compliance with federal state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations. Maintains current licenses and permits as prescribed by local state and federal agencies.
Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the Resort.
Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community involvement.
Assists in the development of new programs which result in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Flexibility to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Respond to resort needs during non-business hours.
