Position Summary:The Assistant General Manager supports all aspects of resort operations including guest and employee satisfaction reputation management human resources financial performance sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 years of experience within hospitality management industry; preferably hotels or RV Resorts.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Operational departments such as Guest Services Housekeeping and Maintenance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Assists the General Manager with the operational and financial management of the property. Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.
  • Verifies that all standards are being maintained in each area of the property.
  • Verifies that all team members meet or exceed all brand requirements.
  • Takes action on guest and resident requests seeking resolution.
  • Delivers and leads strong customer service and operational practices. Enforces resort rules and standards.
  • Assists RV Resort General Manager with administrative duties and tasks.
  • Works shifts and supports various departments as needed.
  • Assists with the employee life cycle of recruiting hiring training coach counseling and mentoring.
  • Assists with delivering profitable results and operating within budgeted guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with federal state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations. Maintains current licenses and permits as prescribed by local state and federal agencies.
  • Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the Resort.
  • Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community involvement.
  • Assists in the development of new programs which result in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Flexibility to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Respond to resort needs during non-business hours.

Comp: From $45000
