As a Paralegal supporting the Global Legal Employment team you will play a key role in providing legal support on employment law matters. Your responsibilities will span litigation support document management and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
In this role a typical day will include:
- Support employment litigation and administrative claims throughout their lifecycle by coordinating with external counsel preparing and reviewing legal documents and assisting with depositions mediations and subpoena responses.
- Draft review and revise legal documents including pleadings discovery responses and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to senior legal staff including organizing case files preparing reports and responding to legal inquiries and investigations.
- Serve as a liaison with external law firms and government agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Human Resources to advise on employment policies practices and compliance matters.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
- 3 Years of Relevant Experience
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in the legal field human resources or related disciplines
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong writing and proof-reading skills
