We are looking for a highly motivated and autonomous Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in Japan. Based in Tokyo this individual will be responsible for planning and executing strategic campaigns and programs to win grow and retain business across multiple product lines in the M&A and fundraising sectors.

This role requires a creative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment takes full ownership of projects campaigns and can operate independently while collaborating across regional and global teams. You will be a key contributor to the APAC marketing strategy and will also support broader initiatives across the region and globally as needed.

About the Team

You will be part of a lean and agile APAC marketing team of 4 professionals each overseeing different territories. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager in Hong Kong your primaryresponsibility will be for managing and executing marketing programs in Japan. This person will work working closely with regional sales leaders and marketing peers to define and execute go-to-market strategies for the Japanese market.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Lead and own end-to-end marketing campaigns and event execution in Japan with a focus on driving MQLs and business opportunities.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy managing multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
• Develop and execute creative marketing strategies that resonate with local audiences and align with global objectives and support sales revenue targets.
• Collaborate with sales teams on targeting segmentation and messaging to support pipeline growth.
• Manage relationships with vendors and event organizers including sourcing venues branded merchandise and collateral.
• Partner with APAC and global teams to support strategic initiatives and share best practices.
• Localize global content and communications for Japanese audiences including media outreach and digital channels.
• Track and report on campaign performance (KPIs) providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Manage and keep track of a regional budget and ensuring efficient allocation of resource

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in marketing events or project management.
• Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and marketing automation tools.
• Solid grasp of demand generation lead scoring and campaign analytics.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering results within a budget.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process orientation.
• Efficient in AI marketing tools
• Digital fluency in Microsoft Office Google platforms and design tools (Adobe Suite Canva).
• Experience in B2B software finance or professional services marketing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly autonomous proactive and resourceful.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese fluency in Chinese or Korean would be a plus.
• This role requires occasional travel and may involve working after hours or on the weekends to support events as needed.

Location Preference:

Our ideal candidate will be based in Tokyo. However we also welcome applications from bilingual (Japanese & English) speakers who are based in Hong Kong or Shanghai and can collaborate effectively across regions and time zones.
