CareKW is looking for skilled and reliable individuals to join our PSW team providing support at local facilities and for individuals in the community.

Personal Support Workers (PSWs) Requirements:

Personal Support Worker Certificate
Valid work/study permit (if applicable)
Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 3 months of hire)
Up-to-date Immunization Records (MMR TDAP Varicella Hep B Covid-19)
Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) certificate of completion considered an asset
Non-Violence Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certificate of completion considered an asset
Excellent documentation skills
Ability to follow client care plan
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent patient service skills
Reliable transportation
Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset
