This position is a 2026 Summer Software Engineering Intern for a student majoring in Software Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science with interests in html design/support. This position provides the opportunity for you to broaden your background with a practical approach to engineering. The primary goal for you is to merge your theoretical knowledge gained in school with practical engineering applications. Our team is responsible for hardware design support and development of digital and analog circuitry for embedded systems utilizing Multicore Processors memory devices FPGAs Networking Components high speed interfaces and analog devices on Commercial Avionics and Business and Regional Avionics platforms. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work in our growing team of engineers supporting and designing state-of-the-art industry-leading multicore processing for Graphics Generation Displays. Our team designs and supports the hardware for Network Switches Display Processing Computers Multi-module Cabinet and Communication Management position will allow you to partner with a fellow intern and mentors to upgrade XML-based tools used by the customers of our Air Vehicle Computer product line.

What You Will Do:

• You will partner with another intern to complete a full project in 2-2.5 months.
• You will gain familiarity with our Air Vehicle Computer product line.
• You will lean in to the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills of all phases XML-based tools design.
• You will automate requirements and verification activities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with XML-based tools or HTML
• Ability to work well on a team or independently.
• Pursuing an Computer Engineering Software Engineering or Computer Science degree.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
