GET TO KNOW THE ROLE
As the Civil Construction Superintendent youre the key to success on each project. Your day begins with overseeing the entire project site and coordinating self-performing crews in excavation concrete work shoring process piping yard piping and equipment installation. You manage the team ensuring safety and quality are top priorities while maintaining clear communication with clients contractors and suppliers. From monitoring project progress to addressing any challenges that arise you are the go-to leader ensuring the project runs smoothly on time and within budget. No two days are the same-but with your leadership each one is a step closer to successful project completion.
To qualify for this role you will need:
- Superintendent position: 10 years of construction experience with 5 years as a superintendent for a self-performing contractor
- Assistant Superintendent position: 5 years of construction experience with 2 years as an assistant superintendent for a self-performing contractor
- Experience constructing a water or wastewater infrastructure required. Candidates without experience constructing a water treatment plant wastewater treatment plant pump station lift station or similar will not be considered
- Experience managing excavation concrete dewatering shoring and treatment/processing equipment installation
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on safety and quality control
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with heavy civil construction projects
