Our External Affairs and Social Performance (EA&SP) Supervisor will be responsible for managing the evaluation development implementation and monitoring of OceanaGolds external affairs and social performance impacts opportunities stakeholder engagement obligations and EASP planning for the Haile operation and future projects in alignment with the OGC External Affairs and Social Performance Manual and Standards.
- Develop implement and manage the Haile EA&SP annual plan including stakeholder engagement and social obligations.
- Collaborate with the Centre office and VP EASP (Brisbane) to ensure alignment with Company standards and policies.
- Facilitate community consultation manage complaints and grievances and support social investment outcomes.
- Lead compliance with External Affairs and Social Performance commitments including risk management and reporting.
- Manage relationships with local state and federal government agencies NGOs the community and other stakeholders including the Catawba Indian Nation.
- Oversee social impact assessment and mitigation ensuring integration into operational planning and decision-making.
- Develop and implement a robust approach to social and cultural baseline assessment aligning with OGC External Affairs and Social Performance Manual standards.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Degree in relevant field (e.g. Stakeholder Engagement Communications Community Development or Public Relations)
- Current full South Carolina Driver License
- Experience in project and social impact assessment management
- Strong administrative and computer skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of mining industry or willingness to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in stakeholder & community engagement
- Ability to work safely follow procedures and maintain high standards of housekeeping
- Flexibility to perform other duties as required
