What Youll Do:
The Junior Staff Accountant will support full cycle accounting tasks primarily focusing on analyzing financial statements preparing and maintaining operational reports and the successful maintenance of general ledger(s). The Junior Staff Accountant is responsible for accurate execution of department accounting deliverables that will assist upper-level accounting professionals in making informed financial and business decisions.
- Prepare report and analyze organizational and departmental operational costs ensuring appropriate allocation of expenditures across the organization.
- Perform monthly quarterly and yearly P&L analysis audits and reconciliations.
- Perform monthly quarterly and yearly revenue analysis audits and reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accounts prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliation
- Research and analyze financial discrepancies as a result of reconciliation process and report appropriate corrective action.
- Monitor full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes ensuring accurate and timely financial information and processing.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements reports audits and preparation for monthly and quarterly tax returns.
- Perform accurate and timely monthly journal entry preparation and monthly premium reconciliation process for financial reporting.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Assist with audit preparation and financial report requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field required.
- At least 2 years of work experience in accounting as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Specialist required.

- Strong knowledge of finance and tax regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software (e.g. ADP Workforce QuickBooks SAP Concur).

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Flexible and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong ability to analyze and review standard accounting reports.
- Ability to handle sensitive confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
