Description

Dex Imagingis a leading provider of document handling equipment and services with multiple offices and locations throughout the United States. Vendor agnostic providing the best document handling solutions in the industry with no dependency on a single manufacturer. Dex Imaging is a leader in information technology and a manufacturer of associated electronic document handling reporting devices.
We are looking for anIT Tier 1 Helpdesk Agentto act as point of contact for technical support of internal users as well as several vendors from Dexs managed IT services. They respond to incoming requests for IT support and resolve network hardware and software issues with computers. They also perform technical maintenance and software installations and updates.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Respond to internal user requests for technical assistance via phone email or ticketing system.
  • Performing troubleshooting through diagnostic tools and asking relevant targeted questions.
  • Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms.
  • Respond to tickets within 24 48 hours.
  • Client PC connectivity - ethernet TCP/IP and VPN.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally across all levels of the organization as well as with customers vendors and suppliers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to drive and adapt to change.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities while meeting assigned deadlines.
  • Must exercise strong decision making and analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical education or 2 plus year of IT Helpdesk experience preferred.
  • CompTIA A preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows MAC Google Collaboration Apps and Office 365.
  • Working knowledge of Mac and PC Hardware printers scanners computer peripherals and mobile devices.
  • Experience with Desktop security products.
