Job Summary
The Role
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project financial trackers to provide clear visibility of each projects financial position.
- Raise and manage contracts and purchase orders ensuring all costs are correctly allocated to the appropriate budgets cost categories and vendors.
- Monitor and record the delivery of goods and services to enable timely recognition of deliveries and accruals.
- Lead month-end review meetings with Programme Managers to assess project progress and evaluate financial impacts.
- Coordinate inputs from the wider team to prepare weekly monthly and ad-hoc management reports for senior leadership.
- Complete monthly financial submissions to Finance including accruals cashflow forecasts and updates to project completion estimates.
- Support preparation and delivery of the monthly European Technology portfolio review meetings.
- Develop a strong understanding of financial systems and processes to act as a key point of contact for Finance Operations within the Technology function.
- Support Programme Managers throughout the procurement process ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Lead and contribute to internal continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial and operational performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience providing co-ordination support to complex business functions
- Proven experience providing administrative and financial support to project managers
- Highly organised self-motivated and able to work on own initiative and without supervision
- Diligent with attention to detail
- Ability to cope successfully under pressure and with shifting priorities
- Professional and positive
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken English
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; able to manipulate data in Excel spreadsheets
- Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships within the team and with other departments.
- Valid Passport and willing to travel.
