Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse Day Shift
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Contract Type: 13 Weeks (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Rotating start times between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
Travel Rate:Up to$2648.50 per week

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Endoscopy Nursefor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout all phases of endoscopic procedures.
Educate patients and families during pre- intra- and post-procedure phases.
Administer medications safely including moderate sedation per hospital policy.
Monitor and manage patient pain comfort and vital signs during procedures.
Assist physicians with GI procedures including colonoscopies biopsies polypectomies and esophageal dilations.
Accurately document assessments interventions and patient outcomes.
Follow all safety infection control and patient restraint protocols.
Conduct pre- and post-procedure calls and coordinate discharge planning.
Maintain current certifications and demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
Exhibit professionalism accountability and compassionate patient care at all times.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active Massachusetts RN license (unrestricted).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Moderate Sedation Certification required.
Completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams.
23 years of recent Endoscopy experience required.
