Job Summary
- Planning outings and activities.
- Personal care and hygiene tasks
- Monitor health needs including medications special diets and notify supervisor of any outstanding needs.
- Home care shopping and meal preparation
- Setting goals and learning new skills and hobbies
- Assist in developing positive behavior supports by providing feedback about individuals preferences
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of individual treatment plans including data collection report-writing participation in treatment team meeting and carrying out treatment team recommendations
- Provide Lift and Transfer assistance (may include non-ambulatory individuals) requiring ability to carry and maneuver up to 50 or more pounds of unbalanced weight
- Building healthy habits and relationships
- Supporting positive behavior and boundaries
- Maintaining well-being and safety by following plans and reporting guidelines
Qualifications :
- Be 18 years or older
- Must have a Valid US. Drivers License
- 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
