We are seeking an experienced and visionary Housekeeping Manager to join our resort in the beautiful coastal city of Goa. As the leader of our housekeeping department you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while managing a team of housekeeping professionals.
- Oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department including daily operations staffing and budget management
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the guest experience and maintain the propertys standards
- Lead motivate and mentor a team of housekeeping staff fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistent high-quality service throughout the property
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues promptly
- Manage inventory supplies and equipment ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative housekeeping practices and technologies
- Ensure compliance with all health safety and environmental regulations
- Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all housekeeping functions
Qualifications :
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Hotel/Housekeeping experience required 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
- Requires strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
- Candidate must have experience with planning and project management.
- Must possess outstanding organizational interpersonal and administrative skills as well as excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to work effectively in stressful high-pressure situations.
