Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all sales activities in line with the departments business objectives to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Proactively identify solicit and secure transient group and meeting business in accordance with the hotels sales strategy.
  • Ensure adherence to established selling strategies and optimize every opportunity for up-selling and revenue enhancement.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the propertys unique selling points features amenities services and operational policies to effectively promote the hotel.
  • Prepare corporate and government proposal letters annual contracts and other related business correspondences with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Monitor and report market trends competitor activities and evolving client requirements to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales & Marketing on negotiation progress confirmed business and potential leads.
  • Ensure timely efficient and professional execution of all assigned duties in accordance with hotel policies and service standards.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date account database and client contact records. 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in a similar role

  • Strong track record in relationship building new business acquisition prospecting networking site inspections and sales calls

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail

  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and ability to share insights with the team

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Proactive and adaptable anticipating and supporting strategic business changes

  • High standards of personal integrity and ethical conduct

  • Outstanding customer service skills
