Job Summary

As our Application Technical Lead you will take ownership of technical design development standards and vendor oversight for SGSs core corporate applications. Youll ensure the solutions we build meet the highest standards of performance security and maintainability enabling our teams across 115 countries to work smarter every day.
Design & Code Quality
- Define and validate technical designs ensuring compliance with SGS architecture and security standards.
- Guarantee that internal and external developments meet quality performance and maintainability goals.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to align with best practices and governance frameworks.
Technical Leadership
- Provide clear technical guidance to internal developers and external vendors.
- Lead or validate effort estimations workloads and technical feasibility assessments throughout project phases.
- Actively participate in code reviews and hands-on development when needed.
- Work closely with architects business analysts and delivery teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
DevOps & Application Management
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment environments to support efficient and secure releases.
- Define and implement strategies to reduce technical debt and modernize legacy applications.
- Support the resolution of critical production incidents ensuring service continuity and system reliability.
Tech Stack Youll Work With
- Backend: .NET (C#) Azure Functions SQL Server
- Frontend: Angular
- Other: Microsoft Dynamics Java (Spring) Azure DevOps Git CI/CD SAST/SCA tools
- Practices: DevSecOps Agile Lean
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5 years) in full-stack development with .NET Azure and SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of software architecture secure coding practices and DevOps pipelines.
- Experience managing end-to-end application development across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English comfortable working in a global and multicultural environment.
- Bonus points for experience with Microsoft Dynamics Java (Spring) or front-end frameworks such as Angular or .
