- Develop and optimize laser-based manufacturing processes in the fields of e-mobility battery systems hydrogen solutions and power electronics
- Design and implement laser applications such as welding cutting drilling marking and structuring for high-precision manufacturing
- Integrate and conduct tryouts of laser equipment in custom-built special machinery developed by our company
- Conduct feasibility studies process validation and parameter optimization for new laser applications in the state-of-the-art laser laboratory
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laser processes and laser equipment ensuring high quality and efficiency
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored laser solutions
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in laser technology automation and Industry 4.0 trends
- Prepare technical documentation reports and process guidelines

Qualifications :

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Laser Technology Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Proven experience in laser material processing (fiber lasers ultrafast lasers etc.) for eDrive battery or electronics manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of laser safety standards optics and beam delivery systems
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software automation systems (PLC robotics) and process monitoring tools
- Strong team-player mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering production and customer teams
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
- Professional communication skills in English (additional language e.g. German are a plus)
