What Youll Do
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Banquets you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth setup and breakdown of banquet events. Your key duties include:
- Providing professional friendly and engaging service at all times
- Setting up and tearing down meeting and banquet rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Safely lifting moving and storing tables chairs and staging equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness in banquet rooms hallways storage areas and service spaces
- Reporting unsafe conditions damaged equipment or repair needs promptly
- Following departmental procedures hotel standards and all health and safety guidelines
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support the team
Qualifications :
What You Bring
- Previous experience in guest service or a similar physical/operational role
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- High level of responsibility reliability and professionalism
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- A team player mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and overnights
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
- Frequent pushing pulling kneeling and bending
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders stairs and ramps
- Manual dexterity and ability to carry multiple items simultaneously (e.g. 3 entrée plates)
