What Youll Do

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Banquets you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth setup and breakdown of banquet events. Your key duties include:

• Providing professional friendly and engaging service at all times
• Setting up and tearing down meeting and banquet rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Safely lifting moving and storing tables chairs and staging equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness in banquet rooms hallways storage areas and service spaces
• Reporting unsafe conditions damaged equipment or repair needs promptly
• Following departmental procedures hotel standards and all health and safety guidelines
• Performing additional duties as assigned to support the team

Qualifications :

What You Bring

• Previous experience in guest service or a similar physical/operational role
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• High level of responsibility reliability and professionalism
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
• A team player mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and overnights

Physical Requirements 

• Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
• Frequent pushing pulling kneeling and bending
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders stairs and ramps
• Manual dexterity and ability to carry multiple items simultaneously (e.g. 3 entrée plates)
