IMO part of SGS is seeking a full time Senior Metallurgist to join the team in West Perth.
Responsibilities include however not limited to:
- Uphold and maintain document control and quality assurance standards.
- Maintain a high level of communication with the Lead Metallurgist to completely understand and clarify the scope of work and project data interpretation
- Take personal ownership and accountability for all aspects of project data management folder management collation and manipulation throughout project delivery.
- Identify and obtain support or advice required for the planning coordination and execution of work
- Attend and contribute to weekly and client meetings.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree in Extractive Metallurgy Chemical Engineering Process Engineering or similar.
- Experience in a broad diverse range of metallurgical commodities and unit operations.
- Laboratory and project management experience.
- Strong written communication and verbal as well as effective planning and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and highly developed organisational planning and coordination skills.
