Project Manager Planning

We are currently looking for a full-time Project Manager Planningin our Milwaukee or Mequon office person will collaborate with our internal staff of planners engineers and architects to complete a wide variety of projects. Our planning group provides planning and design services to public and private clients in a variety of settings and addresses issues including comprehensive planning downtown revitalization economic development park & rec planning transportation planning and development entitlement and design.

We are seeking someone with experience and success as a planning consultant someone who brings an entrepreneurial spirit and project management expertise to the improvement of communities in collaboration with colleagues and clients.

The work you may do

• Collect analyze and summarize data from various sources
• Create plan documents including planning policy (content) and document design (format)
• Design and/or assist with public engagement activities
• Prepare policies for plans and ordinances that guide community development and/or assist with ordinance administration
• Manage and coordinate the work of other planners on specific projects to ensure budget management and timely task completion
• Lead the preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications

What you bring
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Regional Planning or related degree required Masters degree preferred
• 6 years of experience in planning required
• AICP certification strongly preferred
• Previous work experience in consulting is required including familiarity with project management in a consulting environment
