Responsibilities:
Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy following dealership and factory standards
Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Road tests vehicles when required
Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed if the work outlined is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Understands and complies with federal state and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal OSHA etc.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs schools and events
Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
FCA Certified
Must Have a Valid drivers license
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
Ensure customers cars are kept clean and treated with respect.
Must be a helpful team player
Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
Skills/ Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of automobiles
Good communication
Basic Computer
Ability to learn new technology
Accountability
