The Opportunity
We are seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our brand-new outpatient family medicine clinic opening this Fall in Christiansburg VA. This role serves a dedicated patient population of employed adults and retirees.
Schedule
Monday Wednesday 8:00am 5:00pm (24 hours total)
No evenings no weekends and no call

What Youll Do
Provide comprehensive history and physical exams for acute chronic and complex conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests
Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment plans
Monitor and adjust care plans to ensure patient well-being
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and make referrals as needed
Support patients and families with education guidance and compassionate care

Requirements
Masters degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current unrestricted Virginia NP license (Autonomous Practice & Prescriptive Authority preferred)
Current NP Certification in your specialty area
BLS and ACLS certification
Strong communication organization and teaching skills
Empathy compassion and the ability to thrive in a supportive team-oriented environment
