Job Duties
Conducts complex fraud investigations involving health care providers in the Virginia Medicaid Program including allegations of corporate neglect in nursing home facilities. Reviews voluminous records participate and/or assists in search warrants interview witnesses and targets of investigations drafts overpayment schedules participates and/or assists in undercover operations. Applicants who are currently or were recently a sworn law enforcement officer in Virginia will have an opportunity to retain sworn law enforcement status in this position. Some overnight travel is required.
This position will work out of the Fairfax Virginia office.
