Job Purpose
The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness safety and functionality of five ArcGNO properties. This includes routine inspections preventive maintenance minor repairs and coordination with outside vendors when specialized services are required. The Technician will demonstrate pride in maintaining welcoming environments that reflect ArcGNOs mission and support staff participants and visitors.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform daily walk-throughs of assigned properties to ensure cleanliness safety and good repair.
- Complete light repairs including painting patching carpentry and minor plumbing or electrical work.
- Monitor HVAC lighting restrooms doors locks and windows for proper functioning.
- Replace lightbulbs filters ceiling tiles and other consumables as needed.
- Assemble furniture move equipment and support setup for events or programs.
- Maintain a routine schedule for inspecting building systems and safety equipment
- Perform seasonal maintenance (e.g. clearing drains power washing exterior changing HVAC filters).
- Track and record maintenance tasks in a logbook or digital system.
- Notify leadership when outside contractors are needed for specialized services (plumbing electrical HVAC).
- Meet vendors on site and provide access when required.
- Ensure contracted work meets safety and quality standards.
- Follow OSHA fire safety and state/local compliance guidelines.
- Ensure walkways exits and workspaces remain safe and unobstructed.
- Identify hazards and take corrective action promptly.

Education/Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of general maintenance custodial or handyman experience.
- Ability to use tools ladders and equipment safely.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel between properties.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks daily.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
