Key Responsibilities:
- Lead specific HR projects or functions based on prior specialization (e.g. talent acquisition employee data analysis training development).
- Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Provide expert guidance to employees and management on HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support HR decision-making and strategy.
- Assist in complex employee relations cases offering specialized insights.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure consistency and best practices across all HR areas.
- Identify and implement opportunities for HR process improvements and efficiencies.
- Transition into comprehensive generalist duties including payroll support benefits and compliance.
Recommended Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of specialized experience in an HR function (e.g. Talent Acquisition Employee Relations HRIS Benefits).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex HR information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated capacity to learn new HR functions quickly and effectively.
- A strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Eagerness to embrace a new community and relocate to West Michigan.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
