Director of Pharmacy Modesto CA
Compensation: $180000 $200000 annually
Sign-On Bonus: $15000 (paid out over 2 years)
An exceptional opportunity is available for a proven pharmacy leader to step into a Director of Pharmacy role at a respected 50-bed hospital in Modesto CA. This is a working director position offering the chance to both practice as a Pharmacist and lead a dedicated team while also serving as a key member of the hospitals Senior Leadership Team.
Position Highlights
- Reports directly to the CEO and serves on the Senior Leadership Team
- Hands-on Director role combining leadership with active pharmacist responsibilities
- Monday-Friday schedule: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM with occasional weekend coverage support
- Pharmacy utilizes Pyxis dispensing system
- Staffing Model:
- 2 Full-time Pharmacists 1 Pharmacy Tech (Monday-Thursday)
- 1 Pharmacist 1 Tech (Friday)
- PRN Pharmacist support on Saturday
Candidate Profile
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a small collaborative pharmacy team
- In-depth knowledge and working familiarity with California Pharmacy Laws
- Proven success balancing clinical responsibilities with operational leadership
